HOME LIBRARY (select)  |    FREEZE (requested items)    |    Community Reviews 

 

Your "Home Library"

You can select which library branch you want as your "home library." 

  • Log In to your accountmodify my info button, non-working image
  • in your record, click "modify my info" button   —>
  • scroll down to HOME LIBR.
  • From the dropdown list, select the library you want as your "Home" or "Default" library
  • 'Submit.'

Now, that branch will appear automatically as your pickup branch whenever you first log in and then search for/request any item. 


Freeze your Requests (Holds)

 

Going on vacation?  Leaving town for awhile?  Place outstanding requests (holds) "on ice" until you return.  If the item you requested becomes available while you're away,  your request will be skipped over without losing your position in the waiting list.  When you return, reactivate your hold and you'll be notified as soon as the item is available.

                                        ...and then click 'update list' button. —>



Your request will not be filled while you are gone.  Upon your return, uncheck the Freeze button and update your list again to reactivate your request.

 

NOTE:

  • You cannot freeze a hold showing as "In Transit" or "On Holdshelf" in your request record.
  • There is no option to Freeze (check box doesn't appear ) items that are immediately available.

COMMUNITY REVIEWS of Items in our Catalog

 

A great way to review items you really liked (or disliked!) share your opinions with our reading community, as well as keeping track of the items you've checked out and want to remember! 

Here's How...

  • First, log in to your account
  • Then, search the catalog to find the item you'd like to review
  • Click on the "Add a Review" button
  • on the next (pop-up) screen, you can enter your Headline and review and "submit"
    NOTE: this feature can "time out," so be prepared with your review.
  • after submitting, you can read your review and "confirm" for posting, or cancel to go back and make any changes before confirming.

    There may be some delay between review submission and publication in our catalog.

An added bonus of this review system is that our software keeps track of all the items  that you've reviewed, so you can go back and see your favorites and those you did not like.  While logged in, go to Your Record and click on the "my reviews" button for the complete list.
